When things aren’t going well it is very easy to just say “I’ve had enough” and pack it all in but unfortunately if you do this where does it really leave you?

Usually with even more unfinished tasks and things mounting up even more which eventually have to be dealt with anyway, whether it is unfinished business, debts rising, unhappy relationships or even cleaning the house. Whatever it is it only becomes final when you decide to give up for good.

Everyone feels like giving up sometimes but feeling like it, and actually doing it are two worlds apart.

As Thomas Edison famously once said, “opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” or perhaps more appropriately, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

Often we are moments from success in any endeavour when we decide to give up and had we just carried on just passed the point where more people give up, we would have reached ultimate success.

Failure only becomes permanent when you give up, and ultimately it is only you who can decide whether to carry on or not. If you carry on just another day further you might just make it.
