Graziella, Fonteville, Monaco

Fonteville is a great part of Monaco, located next to the Heliport in the harbour and an area which has matured over recent years to include some of the area’s best restaurants.

Pasta Bolognese at Graziella MonacoThe well known Beuf Bar which will feature in a forthcoming review, is a few doors down from Graziella, the restaurant we are reviewing today.

Graziella is a lovely looking Italian restaurant where you will find a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. If you’re looking for real Italian food in a lovely spot then this a great little place to watch the world go by. The area can be busy late in to the evenings as there are several bars and restaurants along the short strip at Fonteville but it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area, just be sure to book.

The service is exceptional here and you will be warmly welcomed and offered complimentary bruschetta which is the perfect appetiser, served with fresh tomatoes and olive oil on delicious fresh bread.

We enjoyed a seafood dish and a pasta bolognese which was cooked al dente and was all very fresh. There is an excellent wine list with many being offered by the glass, as well as a good range of beers and soft drinks.

The restaurant offers genuine, good quality Italian food, fairly priced given the location and offers service which is truly exceptional, we were even offered two ice cream cones when we left to enjoy whilst walking back along the harbour! The ice cream at Graziella is exceptional so make sure you leave enough room to try one!

A great little restaurant in a great location which we highly recommend if you’re in the area.
