Deco Lounge, Cotham Hill, Bristol
— Please note that Deco Lounge closed in March 2017, other Lounges remain open —
The Deco Lounge opened in 2005 and was one of the first of the “Lounges” in a chain of well over 30 café/bars now.
The great thing with the Deco Lounge, as with all of the others we have visited, is the relaxed and friendly nature of the staff and the atmosphere of the place.
Described as neighbourhood cafe/bars that’s exactly how they feel, never cold and un-inviting. Whether you want a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine and a meal the Lounges offer it all, at any time of day! The Lounge breakfast is fantastic and is available even at 9pm! The menu is extensive and very good, as well as being well priced.
One of the very early adopters of free WI-FI has helped establish Deco Lounge and the others as popular venues for business users and students wanting to do some work on the iPad or laptop on their own with a coffee in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
The toilets are always clean and I have personally been visiting Deco in particular since it opened and have never experienced a bad meal or bad service – ever!
That is very unusual so we highly recommend this excellent chain.
