Dr Stephen Fear is a Patron of Lucy Air Ambulance for Children. They are a registered charity (number 1138457) that is dedicated to delivering air transfers for seriously ill babies and children in the UK. They provide elective (planned) medical air transport between local hospitals and specialist critical care units throughout the UK. The service is provided at no cost to the families of the children involved.
The first transfer took place in 2011 and Lucy Air Ambulance for Children continue to provide support across the UK working closely with the NHS and their preferred air charter partner Capital Air Ambulance. Their ultimate goal is to enable all seriously ill children who require air transfers to access this both quickly and easily. Lucy Air Ambulance for Children rely on the generosity of their supporters to provide their incredibly important and life-saving service.
