Christina Gabbitas talks to John Gilmore at BBC Radio Lancashire about the history behind the Felicity Fly series of Books and the Childrens poetry competition now in its third year.

Christina, who set up An Invitation to Capture the Primary School Nation poetry writing initiative in 2013, has been encouraging children of all abilities to have a go at writing. As part of her initiative Christina spends time working and reading to children in schools and has also taken poetry workshops at the Mrs Sunderland Festival in Huddersfield.

Judges include Dr Stephen Fear Entrepreneur in Residence at the British Library; Tatiana Wilson, founder of the People’s Book Prize, Hind Abdullah Lenaid, Head of Sharhjah Childrens Reading Festival; Yorkshire business Woman Claire young and award winning authors Hilary Robinson Carol E Wyer and Julie Fulton.
