@EvertonStadium @Meisarch I love seeing construction take place. It creates jobs & new opportunities for businesses that surround it to grow. These include pubs, hotels, shops etc.

I have many friends at @Everton so wish them well with this project.

As Storm Antoni bashes the UK this weekend I walk through ancient woodland with Alfie. Nothing like fresh country air to add to the tranquility found among trees & nature especially when followed by a pint with friends in a local 🇬🇧pub.

#Rural lives matter.

2-2 @ShelfordMark @ASPolice Surely you aren’t going to continue ignoring this happening right in front your eyes? Parts of #Bristol, #Bath & #Somerset aren’t safe to walk in daylight hours never mind at night. The public deserve much MUCH better!

Interesting to see that the #UK economy has performed better than France or Germany since the pandemic. Britain has always been a nation of #entrepreneurs
#Business matters now more than ever or there won’t be any money for anyone.

The UK is surrounded by the sea & yet when I first pushed for the #SevernEstuary to be harnessed for energy production 5 decades ago some laughed. Well they’re not laughing now!

To achieve #NetZero harnessing the the worlds 2nd highest tidal range is vital. #TidalEnergy matters

The Prime Ministers decision to push back the ban on building new diesel & petrol cars to 2035 leaves out the most important question. Where will the electricity come from to power the #NetZero agenda anyway?
Without a massive increase in nuclear power I can’t see it’s possible.
